Naso Tang Juvenile

$30.00

The Naso Tang (Naso lituratus), also called the Lipstick Tang or Orangespine Unicornfish, is a large and active surgeonfish known for its elegant shape and striking colors. It has a grayish body with a golden-yellow dorsal stripe, bold black facial markings, and vivid orange accents near the tail spines. Males may also develop long trailing streamers from the tail. Growing up to 18 inches, they require a very spacious aquarium (180+ gallons) with ample open swimming space and live rock for grazing. Naso Tangs are herbivores, thriving on a diet of marine algae, seaweed sheets, and plant-based foods, though they also accept meaty items. They are generally peaceful and hardy once established, making them excellent show fish for large reef or fish-only systems.
