Clown Tang

$69.99

The Clown Tang (Acanthurus lineatus) is a vibrant and active marine fish known for its striking coloration featuring blue and yellow horizontal stripes and bold, dark bands. Growing up to 15 inches, it is native to the Indo-Pacific, particularly around coral reefs and rocky areas. This species thrives in large, well-established aquariums with plenty of open swimming space and live rock for grazing. It is an herbivore, feeding primarily on algae, and plays a beneficial role in controlling algae growth. While beautiful, the Clown Tang can be aggressive and territorial, especially toward other tangs and similarly shaped fish.
