You will receive a frag SIMILAR in shape and size to the coral in the photo. This is NOT a WYSIWYG frag. All our frags are generally 3/4” - 1”

Care Requirements:

  • Lighting: Moderate to high (PAR 100-200). Prefers stable lighting conditions.

  • Flow: Moderate, indirect flow to keep tentacles swaying without damage.

  • Placement: Middle to lower tank areas, ensuring space for its long sweeper tentacles.

Water Parameters:

  • Temperature: 76-80°F (24-27°C)

  • Salinity: 1.025 SG (35 PPT)

  • pH: 8.1-8.4

  • Alkalinity: 8-12 dKH

  • Calcium: 400-450 ppm

  • Magnesium: 1250-1350 ppm

Feeding & Nutrition:

Primarily relies on photosynthesis but benefits from occasional feedings of mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and coral foods to promote growth.

Compatibility & Challenges:

  • Aggressive coral—long sweeper tentacles can sting nearby corals.

  • Prone to Brown Jelly Disease if stressed by poor water conditions.

  • Easily fragged, making it a great coral for propagation.

Final Tips:

Provide moderate lighting and flow, maintain stable water conditions, and allow space between corals to prevent stinging. With proper care, Frogspawn Coral is a hardy, visually stunning addition to any reef aquarium!
