It prefers low to moderate lighting and gentle flow, usually doing best placed directly on the sand bed where its tissue can fully expand without rubbing against rock. Generally peaceful, it can extend feeder tentacles at night and benefits from occasional target feeding of small meaty foods to promote growth and coloration. Stable water parameters and avoiding sharp or rough surfaces are key to keeping this coral healthy and fully inflated.
