Clove Polyp Colony
Clove polyps (Clavularia) are soft corals known for their long, flowing stalks topped with star-shaped polyps that create a waving, grass-like effect in the tank. They thrive in low to moderate lighting and gentle to moderate flow, making them very beginner-friendly and easy to maintain. Clove polyps grow quickly by spreading across rock surfaces, adding movement and texture to reef aquariums. While beautiful, they can spread aggressively, so it’s best to place them on isolated rock to keep them contained.
